Existen actualmente en el mercado 3 marcas de lentes parabólicas para la realización de Visitas Virtuales a partir de una sola fotografía. Los 3 sistemas tienen las mismas características y resultados similares, difieren una de otras solo en la calidad de sus componentes.

Lo primero que hay que saber antes de adquirir un espejo parabólico para la realización de estas fotografías es que se trata de un sistema cuya única ventaja es la generación de una panorámica a partir de una sola fotografía. Las desventajas son muchas y los fabricantes generalmente no las mencionan. En primer lugar debes saber que para tener una fotografía en foco con una cámara reflex deberás cerrar al máximo el diafragma (F22 o superior) lo que implica tiempos de exposición prolongados en situaciones de luz complicadas. Otro problema que veo en estas ópticas es la distorsión a la que hay que someter a la imagen circular resultante para transformarla en una imagen equirrectangular.. la parte inferior de la óptica logicamente siendo cónica tendrá menor información o superficie que la parte superior.

En síntesis. Es una solución práctica donde no importa la calidad de la fotografía ni el tamaño. Como ventaja clara están la posibilidad de fotografiar un espacio o situación a partir de un solo disparo lo cual se traduce en otra ventaja que es la posibilidad de fotografiar espacios con gente o elementos en movimiento
